The Bookshop is a modern British
restaurant in Hereford serving coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner and award winning Sunday lunch.
Brunch is served from 9am-3pm
We serve our concise brunch menu along with great coffee and cakes six days of the week, with a focus on British ingredients and great flavours.
Our menu features vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes, if you have any dietary requirements then please let us know and we will be happy to cater for you.
Our evening menu is served Wed-Sat, from 6pm
We serve our evening menu four nights a week from our open kitchen. We have a great range of steaks, which we cook over our charcoal-fired oven, Bertha.
All of our steak is grass-fed, which not only tastes better but has more Omega-3, Vitamin E and antioxidants than grain-fed beef. It may cost more, but we think it’s worth it.
We serve our award-winning Sunday Lunch every week from 1pm
Our Sunday Lunch is served each week from 1-4pm, it gets very busy so booking in advance is strongly advised!
We serve rare rump of beef, slow-cooked lamb, pork belly, and we always have a vegetarian dish on the menu. We’re also happy to adapt our dishes for vegan and gluten-free diets, please let us know when you book.

You can now grab our delicious Bookshop Brunch for longer on Sundays in The Yard - 9am - 3pm. No bookings needed, we’ve got plenty of space for you all, The Yard offers the perfect spot to relax and soak up the atmosphere while indulging in our delicious brunch menu.
Whether you're catching up with friends or easing into your Sunday with a good book, you can now savour your favourites for longer, surrounded by the unique character and warmth that make our space so special.
